TTC 3 months in!

Hi ladies,

I have been TTC for 3 months now. On Wednesday night going into the early hours of Thursday morning I wiped and there was light red/ pinky blood at 10 pm and at 3 am I wiped again and a bit more blood but after that nothing. This is a week before my period is due. So possible implantation bleed? My temperature has risen since, this morning it was high at 37.7oc and i've generally been feeling a bit bleurgh! Are these signs of pregnancy? What is more confusing is my cervix was very high up and soft when I was bleeding but since then it has been low, closed but medium softness. I am a bit concerned as am a teacher and in a group at school with kids so as soon as I can test I will be but just want some reassurance of whether to get my hopes up or to not. Has anyone had this before? I am a first timer so still learning!
Thank you

Hi OP. First time TTC I had loads of 'pregnancy' signs and then got my AF bang on time 😭
Second time trying I had all the same symptoms again and that time I was pregnant (now 24 weeks)!🥳
Your body plays very odd tricks on you when you're TTC and I think our mentalities have a lot to answer for, for confusing us so much 😂
However, what you have described does sound like implantation bleeding and all signs seem positive, so you never know! 🤞🤞
If you can hold out until the day after your AF due date and then test, you're more likely to get a more accurate reading (this said from the woman that tested so many times and spent copious amounts of money on pregnancy tests when I shouldn't have! 🤣🤣)
Good luck!! 🥰

It took me years to get pregnant and I had all sorts of ‘symptoms’ during months I wasn’t. You might be, you might not, unfortunately you’ll need to just wait a few more days to find out.

It’s only 3 months though so the stats are firmly on your side. Most people who will conceive naturally do so within a year.

Thanks, have you ever had implantation bleeding though and then period? I wasn't obssessing until Wednesday evening when I saw blood! Now I can't stop symptom spotting! I've been very chilled up until then Grin!

Yes, several times. It’s amazing what you see when you’re looking for it!

I didn't need to look that hard at all. I wiped and quite a bit of blood, I even showed my husband and he saw it too. Then 2nd time of going to the loo and wiping more blood than the first time away. The 3rd time of going to the loo and no blood. Time will tell when I test but just wanted a bit of reassurance. If it's not implantation bleeding what else could it be. My period is due on the 16th. So I had the bleeding a week before period due.

Sounds like spotting to me, but every cycle is different. Hopefully you’ll be pregnant soon Flowers

Generally ‘they’ say implantation is a faint pink tinge, not bloody. At the point of implantation the blasto is, what, 8 cells or something like that? Really tiny still. Barely a scratch which is why, generally, you don’t get any actual bleeding.
