Hi, I'm looking at getting a nursery chair (ideally with a footstool too) for all those sleepless nights! Does anyone have one they would recommend please?

I was looking at either this one:

or then the Gaia one:

We're trying to choose one that we can use for after baby is grown elsewhere in the house. Our baby's room isn't huge so it's probably going to take up a lot of the space, but I like the thought of reading to her in a rocking chair.

I just bought a rocker from fb market place for £30. There's loads on there

I ordered tutti bambini Oscar as I felt the Noah was a bit low backed. Also ordered the pouffe too. Really comfy 😊

I got one second hand with my son and I can safely say I hardly ever used it! I still have it but it's simply storing stuff on it at the moment. I will try and use it more for when my next boys arrive but I'll be surprised if I do use it! I'm just really glad I got second hand and not brand new considering the amount/lack of use!

I'm another with an IKEA Poang. I've passed it out with a pregnancy pillow so it's more upright. Cheap as chips, comfy, and slightly bouncy, suited me just fine.

I’ve had my tutti bambini one for just under a year - bought preloved and love it. It’s not very pretty to look at, but with a nice throw looks fine. It’s so comfortable though, I still tuck my LO into my lap/arms every night to read a bedtime story, it’s perfect for cuddles AND I loved it for night wakes.

We coslept in the early days and occasionally I still used mine for long night feeds as it was more comfortable than sitting against the headboard. Saved rocking the LO on my feet too!

Another with an IKEA Poang! Later it got used for bedtime stories. Don't get leather, too cold for middle of the night feeds!

I think everyone's different. I had one with my first and used it a lot for feeding, part of bedtime routine and up until she was 4 for stories and cuddles before bed.
