Trying again after Pre eclampsia

As the header says.
We have 2 beauts. 13yo, 19mo.
Pregnancy with my 19mo is what you would consider as a rollercoaster of hospitalisation, uncertainty and very very scary times.
I had Severe pre eclampsia, however, I also had another condition that hasnt been diagnosed because they literally don't know what was up.
Anyhow, we would like to have another - (I must be flipping nuts) to complete our family.
I'm looking for anyone who's had pre eclampsia & then gone on to have subsequent pregnancies.
What 'extra' care were you given? I was given a leaflet when I was discharged about pre eclampsia and future pregnancies...but we had completely written off the idea lol and I never read it.
I'm aware that l be high risk, that's fine, I just wondered if there were any extra precautions that they take and what plan of care they consider as necessary in these instances.
Tia ♥️

Both my pregnancies were ended early due to pre eclampsia.
Because I was much much older and previous issues I was monitored more closely that’s all.
Nothing extra special.

“Ended early” as in 36, 37 weeks and c sections.

Thank you!, I was induced at 38 weeks with my bundle of chaos and was allowed to deliver vaginally - easiest birth ever!
Did u have pre eclampsia the second time round too? Was it just as bad as the first?

Hi - no personal experience but - aspirin from 12 weeks, also possibly calcium depending on your diet, some extra scans would be the usual :)

I was told to take Pregnacare Max to prevent Severe Preclampsia by my IVF consultant as I am predisposed to it due to a rare clotting disorder (it contains the right amount of calcium apparently). I also took baby aspirin and LMW heparin throughout the pregnancy, reduced my salt intake, and focussed on not gaining any weight.

I didn’t get preclampsia in the end, just what was presumed to be a clot in the placenta - it didn’t affect DC too much apart from extra interventions.
