I have my 20 wk scan on Friday at St Mary's Manchester and want to know the baby's sex. Does anyone know if they will tell me?

They told me I was having a boy at 20 weeks and they were right

did you have your boys there kits? I was born there 32 years ago and used to go past it every day for years n the way to school and then uni

i know that doesn't really help the OP though !!

So they do tell you! Great! Someone said that not all hospitals will tell you!

I was born there 28yrs ago!! Then worked there are a temp for about 6mths when I graduated from Uni!

Well he's nearly 3 now so no,lol.

I dont see why they wouldnt.

Hey I know a guy in stockport that does private scans with about 8 photos and a 30 min video for £70,

he can tell you 100% and goes through everthing with you - hes really nice.

I can pass he details on to you if you like?

I had a scan by him with both my boys!

Yes please kitsandbits that would be great - is it normal or 4d scan that he does?

just a normal one, but hes a real sonographer - its like a tiny private clinic and he really takes his time to explain everything,

4D scans run into hundreds (about £300) so this is a cheap alternative - but really nice as hes so thorough.

My DS was born there 9 months ago as was my DD 5.5 years ago, and yes they will tell you. I could see DS was a boy for myself, it was so obviously a willy and they just confirmed I was correct . Good luck, makes me all broody thinking of St Marys.
