Terrified my morning sickness will return

I've been feeling queasy again the past few days..especially in the morning.

It feels as it did in the first trimester as the sickness was starting to creep in and I'm terrified. I had really bad morning sickness and could barely function. I was like a lifeless zombie and I don't think I could cope if it returned.

My husband thinks I'm being paranoid...and I'm worried about it returning but I don't know how common it actually is. I'm 19 weeks.

Not much you can do about it if it does OP 😢 though it's usually not as bad the first along you get, unless you're one of the unlucky ones who just suffers all the way through! Hopefully you won't be!
Just try and enjoy your pregnancy the best you can. Get the most out of your good days and just try not to thing of what could happen and just enjoy on a day to day basis ❤️❤️❤️

Thanks @lockdownpregnancy for your kind words. They have helped to calm some of my anxiety :'(

There is always something that is going to worry you! It's only natural!
As I said just try and take each day as it comes. As someone who also suffers with anxiety, that's how I try to be otherwise I think I'll end up checking in to The Priory! 😂

Please don’t worry, I had lots of short periods of morning sickness returning in pregnancy but it pasted and wasn’t as bad as the first trimester. I think it’s usually linked to the baby having a growth spurt and hormones.

Hopefully yours will pass soon xx

You can get meds if needed OP. I was on them from 9-17 weeks and they made life so much better.

I'm 34 weeks now and it never came back, I had days where I felt a little queasy but it passed quickly and was never anywhere near as bad as first trimester.

I too had anxiety that it would return, it's truly awful and depressing Sad

If you start having severe "morning sickness" returning (rather than having never gone away) make sure you let your midwife know. It can occasionally be other things e.g. UTI, liver issues etc
Fingers crossed tho!

I felt rough until I was at least 22/23 weeks with DS. It definitely wasn’t as strong as it was during the first trimester but it didn’t fully disappear by any means. It’s a myth that 12 weeks = magic morning sickness cure.

Mine returned at 25 weeks unfortunately. It is nowhere as near as bad as the first trimester and it's not every day. I still have some antinausea meds from my first trimester I am probably taking them once or twice a week, in my first trimester I was taking them daily sometimes twice.

I had a week at 14 or 18 weeks when it came back too but it was only thar week.

I hope it passes quickly for you.
