35 weeks, baby non stop moving - not normal

Strange question, have already been in 4 times this pregnancy for reduced movements, and now today for the last hour he has not stopped moving, which is out of character for him? I now feel silly questioning increased movements but just thought I’d see if anyone knows anything about it x

I believe the advice is any significant change in movement. So that can include increased movement. You know what is normal for your baby, so if you have a concern then ring the unit and discuss with a midwife.

As far as I know, any change needs to be checked out.
I've been in so many times through my pregnancy and they have always been kind and reassuring. I did try to avoid calling or going in but just ended up stressing myself out.

Worth giving them a call, even if it's just for your peace of mind.

I'm sure it'll just be a 'mad hour' (we all have those) but best to give the MAU a call anyway for peace of mind.

Call MAU and get checked. It could be a sign of distress.

Have you just had a lot of sugar? I know I had to drink ice cold full sugar coke (yuck) and eat biscuits when I had reduced movements a couple of times. Made baby go mental when the sugar kicked in

I've been in for excessive movements too and the midwife told me that they say ANY changes that are not normal for your baby you should go in.

It's likely it's nothing other than a growth spurt or a mad hour, or even that they've got themselves into an uncomfy position and they're trying to squirm out, but the alternative doesn't bear thinking about so for the sake of an hour just go in ❤️
