I'm looking for a baby bouncer and just wondering if I'm overthinking it too much. Are more expensive ones better and worth the extra money or as long as baby can lye in that's all that matters? I don't want to spend a lot of money on it. What do you think of this one I'm looking at getting?

It depends on what your after. I spend £50 on an all sining and dancing bouncer for my first and it was useless. I had a pad it out with a blanket and prop it up on a cake tin so that it was suitable for a newborn to lay down comfortably in it. 2ed baby I got the tiny love 3 in one and was perfect as it has 3 reclining positions. However it's big more like a moses basket. Overall I think the one you have in your picture is perfect for a baby as you dont need anything fancy as they jest need somewhere to sit and nap.

from what my nephew was like, he wasn't a big fan of them! but my god daughter loved hers in that style!

We got a rocking one as found that being able to gently rock it with my foot while having a cup of tea was an absolute life saver. About to have baby number 2 and have just pulled it out of the loft again.

It's this one but in a different design www.smythstoys.com/uk/en-gb/baby/bouncers-swings-and-rockers/baby-bouncers/fisher-price-infant-to-toddler-rocker-terrazzo/p/185333?gclid=Cj0KCQjwiYL3BRDVARIsAF9E4GduvEtjtrIOro7H0xDglhNNyhee4mysANLINc2dlnk8v75wzwmqQ7UaAlbCEALw_wcB

One like the picture is perfect. I got a basic one for DC1 which was great, borrowed the mega expensive 4baby electric thing from a friend for DC2 - but within a week had stopped using that and id got a basic one again. They are easy to move around, easy to clean when it inevitably gets sick or poo on it and still does the job of comfortably holding baby for 10mins!!
