I’m 29 weeks the other day I had a few hours of a mild period type pain which went with paracetamol I assumed I’d done too much.
This morning I suddenly had a proper contraction then nothing else and it’s an hour later and I feel fine but should I be worried ?

I’d contacted dau about the period type pains then other day they said no need to go in unless it got worse or baby’s movements affected. I’m thinking I should just rest and see how I feel this morning and go if it happens again ?

Yeah I find later on in pregnancy the more I do the stronger my Braxton Hicks would be or the more I'd get, I'd take it easy today and just monitor things. If your worried don't hesitate to phone back up and speak to the midwives Smile xx

I think I’ll just keep an eye on it then hopefully was a one off. My braxton hicks are never usually painful just very right to being uncomfy but this was actual contraction pain I didn’t enjoy it at all !!! Made me v v glad I’ll be booked for a c section this time as I forgot the feeling
