FRER VVVV faint positive 7DPO now BFN

Hi so I was silly and tested at 7DPO with a FRER. At first I thought it was a BFN but got super excited when I could see the faintest of lines. I mean so faint shine I light behind but could see one. I dismantled the test to get a better look, I didn’t realise at the time I shouldn’t and again hard to see but there was a faint pink line.
Anyway, I tested with FMU the next day at 8DPO and 9DPO and was so upset to see a BFN both times. Since then at 10PO and 11DPO I have used the one step amazon tests and all come back negative as didn’t want to waste more money on FRER. The thing is I feel pregnant, tired all the time and feeling nauseous. I feel so disheartened and annoyed that I tested so earlier but wanted to see if any one had a similar situation and got a positive outcome ? Thanks

Have you got photos?

Hi OP, as you know yourself, it really is still super super early! It's literally just a case of 'wait and see', I'm afraid.

I know it's hard but the best thing you could do is get another FRER, wait a couple of days till you're 13/14 dpo and test with FMU. Otherwise you're just spending a fortune on tests everyday which won't make any difference to the end result either way.

Good luck.

@Alicia11 congratulations on your BFP! I am going through this at the moment. I got a faint positive on an FRER at 7dpo and all negative since then (now 11dpo) how many DPO were you when you finally tested positive? It's driving me crazy I've got so many symptoms and feel pregnant. No sign of AF (due tomorrow). I wish I hadn't tested so early 😢😩

@hannah88j just came across this thread when dealing with the exact same issue - what happened for you??

I've had two prior pregnancies (both ended in miscarriage), and I've had the exact same set of implantation signs I had the with the first two over the past week. Burning behind my pubic bone, shooting feeling in hips and thighs, occasional hard nipples, occasional heart flutter.

I tested 7dpo like a fool and got the world's faintest second line. I assumed it would grow stronger each day like it did with the last pregnancy, but every day since (8,9, 10 and 11dpo) it's been a stark, stark negative.

Is it possible to be pregnant if it the positive has disappeared?! Or was this a failed implantation??

Thanks for any help :) xx

I know this is an old thread but for the sake of any of you ladies out there deep digging threads anxiously in the tww, I just wanted to add that there is usually a small initial surge of hcg secreted at the moment the zygote hits the uterine wall in the first stage of impantation, the next surges of hcg come a few days later if full implantation was successful. This can give a faint positive result, a few BFNs then should climb again to give positives a few days after implantation. Only in early early testing will this surge, dip, surge be observed.
