Sharp pain lower left side of stomach

Hi, just a quick question. I'm 24 weeks pregnant and since yesterday I've had sharp constant pain in left side of my lower stomach. Its kept me awake all night and doesn't ease on lying down, it's very sore. Anyone had this before? Thanks

Hi @EimB, I’ve had sharp left side pain a couple of times previously - although not whilst pregnancy. One turned out to me a Overian cyst and the other time I had a Kidney infection. If it’s waking you up, I would 100% call the Drs to get checked out!

Thanks @LiliPad28. Yea definitely keeping me awake and not easing any when lieing down. Not sure whether to contact my GP or maternity assessment clinic.

Sounds like it could be a kidney infection?

Hi I've got the exact same thing, called doctors yesterday and had to take my wee in and it's a infection of some kind, they sent it off to be tested further but I'm on a 3 day course of antibodies.. Mines been going on for weeks now.. Definitely call the doctors.
