Getting HCG blood result

Hi everyone
After 2 years TTC and a miscarriage at 5+6 last month I got another positive test this month, last Wednesday at 4w+1. A few days before this I got pink DC which turned to brown and continued until Friday when I called my GP due to severe cramping as I was concerned about an ectopic pregnancy. GP called EPU, then told me to get HCG test at blood test centre, and midwifes would call. MC started properly on Sunday morning so I don't need to worry about it from a physical health point of view. In any case today I called GP surgery for HCG result but it's not available yet. Does 3 days seem like a long time for this to come through? My main worry anyway is coping with the disappointment. My partner is sympathetic but doesn't understand why I get so upset. Since starting to work from home I've got into a viscous cycle of comfort eating which I can't seem to break out of and is only making me feel worse :(
