I'm 10 weeks but I completely get this! I either can't bare to eat anything or the next day all I will want is junk.. the thought of anything healthy makes my stomach churn 😳

I’m 15 weeks and still not eating right Sad

@Loz1093 thank god it’s not just me then! The thought of vegetables or salad genuinely turns my stomach, makes it sound like I’m just making excuses to eat rubbish instead 😂

I had severe sickness until 18 weeks and my midwife basically told me to just eat what I could. I lived on toast and rich tea biscuits. Sometimes managed some grapes but most of the time i didnt keep any food down. Ended up in hospital twice and lost 2 stone.
So just eat whatever you can! Baby takes everything they need anyway.
I have two healthy baby girls (twins) so no adverse effects on not eating right.

Haha glad it’s not just me then 😂
Oh really @Wishing56 congrats on the twins Smile

I had an awful time in the first trimester with sickness....I went weeks surviving almost entirely on salted crisps and fizzy sweets!
The main thing is to make sure you are drinking plenty so not getting dehydrated.

It does ease up....mine was a lot better by about 14 weeks and I haven't been sick at all since 20 weeks. My appetite came back with a vengeance in the second trimester.
I did take pregnancy supplements which I tried very hard to keep down as I was worried about bsby getting the nutrients they need so maybe consider those if your diet is a bit limited at the moment.

I never got to actually being sick, thank goodness, but my trimester 1/early trimester 2 nausea made the thought of so many foods super unappealing. Chips were fine though! I felt a bit guilty about how many potato-based things I was eating (mashed potato, crisps, many many chips) and also that chocolate/sweet things didn't seem to set off the nausea, but at the end of the day decided it was better to be managing to eat something.
