Lower risk of miscarriage

Hello,

I had a private scan on Saturday and I was 5 weeks and 5 days and a heartbeat was detected, I have read that if the heartbeat is detected between 5/6 weeks then the risk of miscarriage drops to 5% and then after 12 weeks it drops to 3%, does anyone know if there's any truth to this? I'm just worried and wanted to know what people think.

I personally don't pay attention to statistics as I'm always in that 1% or whatever. But I do wish you loads of luck for this pregnancy.
