Negative pregnancy test

Hello everyone
Me and my husband are trying to conceive. I did a lot of pregnancy test in the past week and some of them negative some with the faintest line but you can actually see there is one. Today is the day my period should arrive I did a test (clear and simple brand) it was negative. I don't know what to think as yesterday the test had clearly a line. I would like to show you the pictures but I don't know how to do it.
Please help has anyone else had negative and then positive??

Are they all the same brand? Did you test first thing in the morning?

To answer your question though, I had a few negatives, a couple faint positives then a couple days later I had a strong positive, so yes it is possible you are pregnant. I suggest doing a frer if you haven't already.

You can't post pictures as a new member, you have to wait 48 hours i think it is.

Different tests look for different amounts of hcg so, if you're using different brands, it could be that. Digitals are the least sensitive.
Testing at different times of the day can make a difference too
It's very very early so it might be borderline on all of them hence the mix of poditives and negatives.
My suggestion is to get a pink dye test and test again after a day or 2. Use FMU if possible.

Yes, I had this last week.
1 faint positive. The next 2 days I got negative. All the same brand.
I didn't test any further

I'm getting so so frustrated as I don't know what to do I will probably wait to see if AF come or not.
The one I did today is the b&m and is the one with pink die. Yesterday I did a clear blue and came positive with a really faint line

I had a stressful week around my missed period - a clear positive 4 days before, then not another one until 2 days after. I was convinced it was a faulty test/ chemical, but I also didn't have any of my usual PMS symptoms. I'm 18 weeks now. So, i would say if you've seen positives, it's very possible. My sympathies, though, I remember how horribly stressful it was, and I wished I'd waited until my period definitely wasn't here - but, I know I won't learn & will be exactly the same next time!

@ticktackted you made me feel much better. I'm very impatient I know but I really want to get pregnant. I had for the past week like little cramps and very painful breast but much less than the usual period cramps

I honestly could be writing your post myself.
Sore boobs, mild cramping, spotting etc... but random results on a test.

I've convinced myself it was maybe a chemical but I'll test again in a few weeks to be sure

@2007millie I am today 14 dpo and still no period it was due day today no symptoms at all apart from very sore and heavy breast

I did 2 tests with confusing results and instead of more testing, I just waited for 6 week mark and booked an appointment. Ultrasound never lies

I'm scared to do an ultrasound as I don't want any negative result. But today is almost gone and mo period yet so I don't know what to think

Well, having an ultrasound won't change the reality, it will only reveal what's already there

Maybe do a first response test tomorrow and see if it has a line?

Still no period at all. Today I'm 15dpo but this is following my app I don't know exactly when I ovulated. I feel so like wet but when I check no sign of periods

Wait 2 week for a completely missed period as if its positive some days and then negative again it could be a chemical pregnancy and you'll end up getting your period in the next week if it is a chemical one. Dont waste your time doing tests when it's really early days even if you wait a week you'll be less confused and less disappointed! Good luck x
