Just found out im pregnant and worked out im due around febuary but unsure how far along I am? I use the Flo app to track my periods etc and that's worked out im 5 weeks and 3 days. NHS calculator says 4 weeks exactly, WhatToExpect says 4 weeks and 2 days. Please help! Obviously with covid I've not been able to speak/see a midwife or doctor yet. If it helps the first day of last period was 8th May and can have anything between 24-28 days between and conception date around 16th May

Thanks ❤

Some people use a simple calculation of nine months from the date of your last period plus one week. That would make you due on 15th February Smile

I remember being really confused as all different apps on my phone said different dates! I would say the NHS website is the most accurate. All is confirmed at your first midwife appointment 😃

Date won't be confirmed until your 12 week scan. For Now they go off of your first day of your last period.

If I remember rightly, Flo normally goes by counting week starts, not weeks completed (so you would start on week 1, not week 0, if that makes sense?)

Officially, your midwife will go by your LMP then you will get a confirmed EDD at your dating scan which is around 12 weeks..

Don’t stress it will be confirmed at your scan

@etaketak1991 is right, Flo calculates your days differently - there's a setting to change it to 'weeks completed' somewhere, which is the more common/intuitive way of counting
