Hi so I'm currently 9 eeeks pregnant and I am literally up all night at the toilet, I've not drank caffeine only a tea in the mornings and trying not to drink a lot at all yet last night I was up 9 times from 11pm to 8 am at the toilet I know it sounds crazy but it's getting me down because I am super super tired, I can't sleep in the day either ! I've always been a weak bladder person but this is unreal has anyone else had this? Can I get anything for it before I fit myself with a catheter 😂

Is this your first pregnancy? I'm 14 weeks with my first and I felt the same as you. I actually cried one night because I was so exhausted and had weed so much!

By 11 weeks it had started to ease off, and now I pretty much just wake up once a night and find it easier to drift off.

I too have always been a frequent wee-er and I think it bothered me more because I was aware, sort psychosomatic in a way, that it was happening more and more.

It's also worth asking your GP to check that you don't have a urine infection, just in case. And please don't restrict your fluid intake excessively, however annoying it is, it's not good for you. It makes sense to drink less later in the day, but make sure you drink plenty earlier.

It does tail off as Restoration said!

Don't be tempted to drink less - it's really important to stay hydrated during pregnancy, but I did find that after a certain time in the evening I would have to get up less if I drank a little less.

I'm 24 weeks now and I usually get up to pee out of habit more than anything - if I wake at 5 I don't need a wee desperately but it's habit now.

@RestorationInsanity @bogoblin yes I'm trying to o still drink but it's just getting also that I'm paying so much attention to it and it's sending me slightly psycho 😂 I'm literally getting 1 hour in between waking again if that and it's making me zoom into how little sleep I'm getting if that's makes sense 😞 it's my 3rd baby I have a 18 year old and a ten year old. I just want to sleep and even just be up my normal 2/3 times a night I pray this doesn't continue for the duration or I'll be a zombie
