Round ligament pain? 16 weeks

Hi. 16w+2 and since last week I’ve been having what I can only think is round ligament pain, according to google. I feel it at night in bed, like a stabbing pain going up from my left ovary to my belly button. This morning I went for a walk but had to turn back after 10 minutes as my cervix/bladder area started to feel really heavy?? It stopped when I got back. My lower stomach has been feeling a bit tender all afternoon, but as I get up to walk around I get the sharp shooting pain up from my cervix all the way to my belly button again.

Is this normal, could it be something else?
Very anxious in this pregnancy. Thanks

You should give your midwifery team a call, it could be ligament pain, but better to phone just incase

Hi OP.
I feel like I'm being stabbed in my lower right side today! Ligament pains comes in all shapes and strength.
My baby is lying really low so when I go walking I get shooting pains and pressure on my cervix and bladder and have a sensation like I have to pee all the time when I'm walking around.
As soon as I sit down and stretch out I'm fine!
I've been having ligament pain since around 14 weeks (currently 24 was) and it's been horrendous to just dull aches.
What you are describing is classic ligament pain (speaking from my own personal experience anyway).
If the pain is bearable and you're not bleeding then I would say you're ok and just going through the motions.
However always speak to your maternity unit or midwife if you are worried. Best to reassure yourself if you get too worried x
