I had my implant removed 3 weeks ago and have been TTC baby #2 so we have been DD, unprotected. In the last week I have been feeling really nauseous and tired about the same time every day, around 6/7pm.
One night I even had my head over the toilet (sorry if TMI)!!
I took a pregnancy test but it came back with a BFN. I haven’t had a period since the implant was removed so I can’t track when I would be ‘late’.
I also had an internal scan done at the hospital two weeks ago because my periods were really heavy on the implant I did have and they wanted to check everything once it had been removed. The lady found a cyst on my right ovary, she didn’t say much other than it’s not out of the ordinary and not to worry and she would scan again in 6 weeks. Anyway, I have read online that there is sometimes a cyst when pregnancy is developing.
Has anybody had a similar experience?? I’m starting to get worried there is something else wrong with me if I’m not pregnant! Thank you and I hope someone can help!!

Hi, it can take a while for periods to return to normal, I had my coils out and took 9 weeks before I had a period. The cyst on your ovary is pretty normal, when people have coils or implants sometimes a small cyst sits there, What size was it? Dependant on the size it is either an actual cyst or could be a dominant follicle - When you go back for your rescan it will either still be there or would of gone.
During pregnancy a corpus leutel develops from the egg that’s released to support the pregnancy hormones but obviously only occurs if your pregnant.

Give your body some time to get back on track, the gp told me if I was not using contraceptive I should do a pregnancy test regularly just incase!
Do a test in a week or so and wait and see.
