Hi so I'm currently 8+6 and I feel my tummy is rather big is this too early to show? I've been scanned so defo only one in there but feel so much painful stretching etc. This is my 3rd child I have an 18 year old and a 10 year old, I'm 39 so hoping it's not just my age 🙈

It’s likely to be bloating at the minute. I definitely had this at 9 weeks but baby is only a few cm big.

Just to add that I’m 26 with DC2. Now 25 weeks (tomorrow) and have a much bigger bump than with DD1 at the same stage.

yea same, I'm 11+3 and I've got a noticable bump now. This is my second pregnancy, my dd is almost 2 so not sure if its coz there close together or what but I feel like I'm gona be huge this time!

could also be abit of extra lockdown weight as I'm just eating crap atm

I'd be inclined to say it's possibly down to both age and that it's your 3rd. I am 35 and 23wks pregnant with my 3rd, my other two are 16 and 11 years old. I am much bigger this time round and was showing by 7-8wks. I also had the stretching pains you describe, which took me by surprise as I didn't have them with my first two.

I'm 12w with my fourth pregnancy and I could feel my uterus above my pelvis at 8w. I would say it's normal to be showing at 8w with DC3+

@custardcat85 the pains are actually quite sore aren't they? Feeling so tired this time as well but can't sleep. Ahh the joys 😂 thanks everyone x
