Hi all. Just wondering how early in pregnancy the birthing/yoga ball can be used? For sitting or gentle bouncing.... not sure if its safe to use or not

I would love to know this too. Also any recommendations on which one to get!

Hey😃 I started bouncing on it at 30 weeks :) I'm 36 weeks now and it helps so much with back ache. I follow some simple stretches etc on youtube!

Oh also... he has been engaged since 34 weeks, i put it down to bouncing away gently and getting him in a good position🤷🏽‍♀️

I sat and bounced on mine from 34 weeks, helped with back ache and general restlessness. I also bounced on it constantly throughout labour at home, got from 0-6 cm dilated on my own at home. I borrowed one. Felt very safe on it but always was next to the sofa in case I did fall off I had something to steady myself

Thanks ladies! Can it to do any harm from 24weeks? I cannot get comfortable on the sofa!!Sad

Yes. An exercise ball is perfectly safe to sit on whenever. I use mine instead of an office chair at work and have done since my pelvis started to get a bit achy at the start of the second trimester.
