Hello

Apologies in advance for TMI...if you're grossed out easily do NOT continue reading.

I've REALLY struggled with constipation during this pregnancy :( anyway today I was in the loo again, really trying. I really didn't want to strain too much but was past the point of return so had to persevere...if you know what I mean. After the initial relief, I felt kind of different down there. It's been a few hours and it still feels different :/ not talking about my bum but actually my hoohaa. No pain (apart from the sore bum) but i feel like my vagina has been wedged open. have I done some permanent damage??? Really worried.

6 months. I've done a quick Google and feel like it might be posterior vaginal prolapse.

I have this and it isn't somthing that comes and goes it just stays and you can't really feel it

It might be just some Hard poo still stuck in your bowel and pressing against your vagina causing discomfort

Go for a walk to help get things moving, and. Try pressing perineum when you poo to help it come out

Try eating prunes, tinned pears and baked beans to soften things up

Dulcoease stool softeners are excellent, they work slowly but are safe in pregnancy

We should all talk about this more, it happens to all of us! X
