Any nub theory guesses or experts?

I've got no bloody clue on how to interpret these things - even with Google.

Would anyone like to take a guess on if it's a boy or girl? From today's 12 week scan and measuring 12+1.

I don't think I can see the nub in this scan, but from skull I would guess a boy x

My current gut instinct says it's a boy but it's really based on nothing at all! x

DH is hoping for a boy, so he'd be thrilled 😊
My gut is currently saying boy as well but god knows, it probably means I'm completely wrong.

@MaverickDanger I'd say maybe a girl? Again not based on anything tangible!

I'm not sure if what I'm looking at are nubs but i will guess OP's is a girl and Maverick's is a boy! I'm probably totally wrong though!! Congratulations to you both.

Ha I know what you mean! I keep looking at different bits wondering if that's the nub 😂

Based on all the hoo-haa old wives tales and theories, for some reason I'm thinking boy, which means it's most definitely going to be a girl just to prove me wrong!

@gg321 I did say to DH that boys are supposed to have more defined bone structure, and he reminded me that one side of his family have a “strong” jaw - including all the women 🙈

We are obviously happy regardless as long as he/she is healthy, but we are still leaning towards wanting a boy first! Hopefully the gender scan places near us will be back open in 5 weeks time.
