Anyone else due this month?

Hi all,

I’m counting down the days now, at due on the 14th of this month so 11 days to go! Really hoping for this one to come a little earlier rather than later though as I’ve got 4 children already and two of them have birthdays 2 days apart and right before Christmas... that week is always super stressful and wipes me out! My youngest has a birthday on the 28th of this month so I’m hoping for at least a week between these two, but if I go the full two weeks over they could be on the same day 🙈

We have 2 DS’ and 2 DDs so we haven’t found out what we are expecting this time and i’m extra excited to meet baby!

Anyone else in the home stretch at the moment want to keep each other company in the last days/weeks?

Hi guys, hope your all hanging in there? My sweep was unsuccessful, however I'm in hospital today being induced, had a pessary at 2pm so hoping little lady arrives soon 🤞

I'm being induced on the 27th and dunno what to expect!!

We had our little girl on the 5th june after an induction 🥰

@MrsRose2018 I'm afraid my induction wasn't straightforward, I had a propress pessary which was fine and working until i had some unexpected news from my neighbour at 1am whilst I was in hospital that my husbands van was broken into and had £2500 worth of tools stolen (dh was at home but had decided not to stress me out whilst in hospital) within the hour my pessary had fallen out and I had a bleed (due to the stress not the induction) I then had a second pessary and a heavy been so was taken to the delivery suit and dh joined me at 7am. I had a really long labour, and needed anti sickness, 3 bags of fluid and antibiotics (I had strep) contraction were fine with just gas and air which was great! 😂 I was pushing for two hours and in the end had to have ventous (suction thing) as baby was at a funny angle with her arm up by her face. She was born minutes later, I had stitches but they were fine!

I think my induction would have been straightforward had we not had the unnecessary stress of the break in!

Being induced on the ward was great I was with three other ladies and we spent the afternoon chatting and bouncing on our balls!

I'm due on the 16th, getting very impatient and uncomfortable now!! And absolutely terrified about going into labour as this is my first baby, wish I could have a planned csection. Hope all goes well for you hun xx

My baby boy was also born of 5th June. I was meant to be induced on that date but went into labour wednesday night and was admitted Thursday afternoon.

2 hours pushing sounds awful. I am told I was pushing for 40 mins but I was off my head on pethadine and gas and air and only really recall the pain but that's because I suffered a 4th degree tear .

All is good now though

@Megzmoo that is so annoying!! I'm assuming your neighbour didn't know you were in hospital/trying to push out a baby at that point?

I'm trying to be chill about it and just get my painkiller ducks in a row and als for my remifentanyl port to be inserted before the drip is commenced!
