9 week miscarriage?

So I have been elated at being pregnant. Had no symptoms at all, just sore boobs. Was worried and had a 6 week scan, which showed heartbeat. Yesterday I wiped fresh blood. Today I have been wiping more and more and a clot too. Have an emergency scan tomorro but not holding out much hope 😥devastated. Any similar experience that have ended well? Clutching at straws I think.

Yup. Very similar. Early scan at 8 weeks. Heartbeat nice and strong. 10 days later started bleeding fairly heavily and passing some clots. I was absolutely devastated.

Was able to get a scan 3 days later fully expecting at least a partial miscarriage, I'd even discussed with DH what intervention I might need if it wasn't complete. My jaw just about hit the floor when they said the baby was fine. I just sat and cried at the poor woman.

He's 6 months old now and rolling around on the floor.

They could never tell me what the reason for the bleeding was.

Hi OP, whilst I have not been in your shoes personally there are a lot of women that bleed all the way through their pregnancy.
There could be a lot of reasons for your bleed and a lot of the time it isn't because you're miscarrying, though clearly it is a possibility.
I hope that it's not the case and do keep us posted as I'm sure there will be others that will comment on your post too x

Wow this is reassuring, so pleased for you. I’m torn between looking for reassurance and preparing myself for the worst...it has made me realise I have never wanted something so desperately. First baby for us, 34 so on the cusp of ‘that’ age bracket...I will keep you posted and hope for the best overnight, appointment is 0915 so not got to have another anxiety ridden day. 🤞 xxxx

Wishing you all the best for tomorrow. I also had a scan at 7 weeks showing a HB, then started bleeding at 9 weeks. Unfortunately, I did MC at home 2 weeks ago. The worst part was that I called 2 EPU's, and neither would scan as I wasn't deemed an emergency!

Many ladies do have bleeding, sometimes a haematoma, and have a healthy baby. All the best and keep us posted

I’ve had unexplained bleeding in 5 out of 6 of my pregnancies. I have two heathy DDs and am 15 weeks with my third healthy baby.
