Is this normal?

I'm 33 weeks pregnant, and for the last there have been 3 mornings where I've woken up with pretty bad period like pains very down low.
I don't think they're Braxton Hicks because I have those regular and there's no tightening with the 'period' pain.
It seems to wear off after a few hours, but during that time it's pretty constant with a few breaks inbetween.

Baby is active as normal and jumping about whilst these cramps are going on.

It's almost 7am and at 6.15am I woke up with this pain.

Does this sound normal? I'm worried about preterm labour but I figured it wouldn't be as dragged out as this and that something would come of it rather than it fading away. I also feel slight nausea when having these pains.

Any advice appreciated. I'm seeing midwife next week so will obviously mention it then.

P.S Baby is not currently head down, he's transverse.

Personally i would call the midwife. Anything "unusual" should be checked and you won't be wasting anyone's time.

Call your midwife, OP. I'm sure it will all be ok, but don't risk it Flowers

@mistletoeprickles Thank you for the reply, I was going to see whether they wear off, they usually do and then I go about my day as normal.
