At what stage off your pregnancy did you (and your heath care team) decided upon a c section? I've been given an appointment but worried it's too late in the day (36w).

Had appointment with VBAC midwife at 22 weeks, she told me risks of both and then said id make my decision at appointment at 36 weeks.
My last section was classed as 'semi elective' (undiagnosed breech, discovered during induction) and they booked me in for a section the following day, so at 36 weeks there should be plenty of time.

36 weeks is normal. I told them I wanted a c csection, but you don't discuss dates etc until 36 weeks.

Ended up having a c section at 37 weeks as breech/transverse polyhydriamnos, large baby (supposedly) and gest diabetes plus age.
