I think I popped around 22 weeks. If it’s your first it does take longer because your muscles haven’t been stretched before.

It's different for everyone but I only got a noticeable bump at about 24 weeks. I'm 27 weeks now and it's had a growth spurt in the last few days but I'm still quite small ☺️ as for movements, I've got an anterior placenta so it was about 20 weeks before I definitely knew it was baby moving and not gas.

I was 25 weeks before I had any bump. Still didn't have much when I gave birth at 37 weeks 😂

HI didn’tget a bump till 20 weeks (before it would just be bloating that would come and go during the night), and started to feel some movements by week 17, very few and only some nights.
So try not to worry, its normal not no have many symptoms at that stage, you should have your 20 weeks appointment soon and hopefully that will reassure you :)

I'm 11w +4 and still haven't put any weight on. I was worrying about it a bit, but I suppose that's normal?

This is my third pregnancy and I didn't get a noticeable bump until about 23-24 weeks.

sel2223 · 01/06/2020 12:08

I had a little bump around 16 or 17 weeks but others probably couldn't see it. I'm still not massive even now!
I'm 30 weeks on Thursday and went for a non pregnancy related ultrasound scan this morning. The sonographer had missed it on the notes so only realised when I was lying there about to be scanned and mentioned it in passing. She was surprised and said I didn't look pregnant.

As for movements, I felt nothing at all till I was over 22 weeks.

Check out the something moved in my stomach thread! Apparently over 30 weeks for some people Smile

crazychemist · 01/06/2020 13:34

It’s really variable when you get a bump. With DD1, I didn’t have one for aaaaages. None of the kids at school spotted I was pregnant until I was past 6 months. Expecting twins this time and bump suddenly appeared overnight just before 13 weeks. A lot of people get a lot of bloating in early pregnancy, so look a bit chunky before they actually have a proper bump.

Shankairen · 01/06/2020 16:36

You will get a bump when your body personally gives you one. I started showing at 12-13 weeks, which is early. I know people who didn't show until 7 months. Everybody shows differently. Your baby will lay differently, your placenta will place differently, your body will react differently. All I would say is,don't worry about it and enjoy fitting into your clothes and your pre-baby body.

thejollytrolleydolly · 02/06/2020 13:48

@Keepingcomfy don't worry I'm nearly 18 weeks and have only put on 2lbs so far! I actually lost weight at first!! X

WhatWouldPennyDo · 02/06/2020 14:19

What @Shankairen said.

FTM. Mine arrived at c16 weeks, and is obvious now I’m 20wks. I’m still 5lbs lighter than I was in January and was a standard size 10 pre-pregnancy. Still the same size, but needing maternity clothes now.

Keepingcomfy · 02/06/2020 15:27

@thejollytrolleydolly Thanks!! That's reassuring ... it feels when I'm on the scales and hoping for a higher number! I'm sure that will change as the weight piles on further down the line

This was the day I gave birth at 37+4. Not everyone gets a big old bump.
