im 27+4 weeks and havnt felt my baby move since last night. Shes normally so active in the day.Im so scared shes died.Ive tried getting her to move by all the suggested methods but no joy.Phhoned the antenantal assessment clinic 1 hour ago but not interested as im not 28 weeks -but only 2 days off!! They said they would get my midwife to contact me but she hasnt yet, is quite unreliable and ive got to pick my son up from pre-school soon.I lost my previous 2 pregnancies and Im very scared. If anyone has any suggestions on what to do I would really appreciate it.

phew!

Saw this thread earlier, but had nothing more to add than what others had said.

Very relieved for you

fryalot · 21/09/2007 20:33

and I'll have some of that bubbly, norma

lucykate · 21/09/2007 20:47

glad all is ok, given that you have previously lost a baby at 23 weeks, i'm not surprised you're a bit jumpy about things like this. if it happens again, i would just get yourself to your gp for an emergency appointment if thats quicker than waiting for the midwife. most gp surgeries have a sonicaid/doppler and will be able to check the heartbeat for you.

always better to play it safe and get things checked out x

CHOCOLATEPEANUT · 21/09/2007 20:56

so glad all ok

i lost a dd at 25 weeks 2 years ago and the movements stopped suddenly

I am now 30 weeks and at 25 weeks this pregnancy the movements stopped again. I drove home from work convinced it was happening again.Turned out just like you and he had moved to face back so could not feel kicks. Now hes back in front and booting me 24/7 which is bliss

Have faith. Its so hard. But its very rare for it to happen so we have to beleive that all will be ok

sending you good wishes and love

xxx
