16 week NHS scan - can they tell gender?

I'm having a 16 scan due to baby being awkward on 12 week scan and not getting all measurements. I wondered if anyone else has had this and if the NHS sonographer was willing to disclose gender at this point? I know private scans will tell you at this point.

Yes!! I had a scan at 15+5 and was told the gender. It was a cervical length scan through the nhs and they usually do an internal and external scan so not sure if that makes a difference but it was clear as day that he was a little boy!! Xx
