Snuzpod 3

Hi all. Looking into cribs and really like the Snuzpod 3 (although trying to justify the cost to myself)!

I'm also not so keen on having to buy the branded mattress protector and fitted sheets as they are quite pricey. Did anyone find any that did fit that weren't the snuz brand?

I have one and love it, especially that I can lift the bassinet off and move it around the house. I'm not UK based and have a fairydown fitted bassinet protector which fits perfectly. I use swaddles we were given as sheets tucked in tightly. Hope that helps.

Thanks @CMMum88 was the bassinet light enough to move around and take downstairs etc?

We have a Snuzpod 2 and we just bought John Lewis crib sheets and mattress protectors.

The babylady website has Snuzpod3 bundles where you gets sheets and mattress protector and a few other bits all included with the crib and you save quite a lot. I bought one recently but having put it up yet but I did see one in a shop and bassinet is very light and easy to move, we intend on using that during the day too.

I have the snuzpod3 and it's fantastic. I loved it. Baby fit in it well until 7 months. It was super light but I didn't really move it around much. I used large bassinet sized sheets as well as the set that it came with. The mattress protector it came with wasn't fitted though so I did buy a cheaper fitted one as well.

If you go onto online4baby.com they have a bundle deal where you get sheets with it. If you have a Blue Light Card (NHS, public services discount card) they have a separate website you access via their app which has even more discounted deals

The snuzpod, schnuggle and Chicco next to me are all the same size. So bed linen for any of those would work - the next to me is usually cheapest on Amazon as it’s really popular in Europe and I got a set of 3 sheets for £10 a few months ago.

That's great thanks guys @TwoKidsStillStanding @LillyLeaf @Nittersing @Newmama29

@grumpyhoonmain that's so good to know! I was a bit worried I'd be tied to buying the expensive branded stuff. Will take a look now. Did you find the same for the mattress protector?

Yep. I bought the chicco next to me mattress protector because it was on offer in Dunelm - but boots, Amazon and John Lewis sell it too.

YorkshireIndie · 31/05/2020 13:49

We got the John Lewis branded crib sheets. We got ours second hand and brought a new mattress

New2020 · 31/05/2020 13:52

@GrumpyHoonMain the chicco next to me has slightly bigger dimensions for the mattress. Did it fit well or was it bunched? If you have any links to hand you'd be able to shared that would be fab

The sheets are elasticated and so I found they fit well. I tested them at John Lewis on the snuzpod and snuggle.

Got the following ones but in a set of 3. They’re a lot more expensive right now though Shock
