Hair dye... Is it OK?

Hi all!

I am 32 weeks pregnant and looking like a badger!

Is it OK to dye your hair at home in pregnancy? Is it safe?

Yes it's fine. Your hair may not take the colour like normal and I would do the patch test first too.

It probably is ok but personally I decided a bit of hair dye wasn’t worth the possible risk.

I have to warn you, when I was pregnant I had a allergic reaction to the test patch. I've never ever had one before. Defo year patch!

It’s fine!

I find I have to leave the dye on longer in pregnancy though.
