We have narrowed it down but not sure which order:

Arwen Isabelle
Isabelle Arwen

The surname begins with D and had 2 syllables.

Wdyt? Many thanks x

Isabelle first !

Birdy1991 · 30/05/2020 10:30

I like Isabelle first too x

BikeRunSki · 30/05/2020 10:32

Isabelle first

I don’t think the initials AID would be helpful

MinesALatte · 30/05/2020 10:33

Isabelle first Smile

Cherryrainbow · 30/05/2020 10:35

I agree AID is what made us go hm. Bfs mym suggested spelling Isabelle with a y but I'm even less keen on that xxx

Pick the name you like most. Nobody uses the other one.

Puddlejuice · 30/05/2020 10:39

Whatever name goes first will be her name... No one cares about middle names.
Where I live she would drown in a sea of Isabelles, if that bothers you then chose Arwen. I think it's a very pretty name.

Flywheel · 30/05/2020 10:46

Another vote for Arwen. Middle name is very rarely used (in initials also) and as initials go, AID is fine. I really would put your focus on what name you want to call your DD every day, not on initials or flow or middle name. Pick the first name you prefer.

sel2223 · 30/05/2020 10:47

I hadn't noticed the initials 'AID' until you pointed it out but, admittedly, it would put me off. Kids are cruel!
For that reason, I'd go isabelle first.

Lots of nn options for that too: Izzy, Belle, Bella, Elle....

Sunsage · 30/05/2020 10:51

I would go for Arwen first! It's a beautiful name 🥰 and yes okay AID but when do we ever have our full name written out like that.

Mucklowe · 30/05/2020 11:56

Arwen first! Isabelle is so overused.

BikeRunSki · 30/05/2020 15:32

... yes okay AID but when do we ever have our full name written out like that.

In every memo, in every set of minutes, in every briefing, from every job I’ve ever had.

howlatthetrees · 30/05/2020 15:36

Isabelle first

tartanbow · 30/05/2020 15:36

I like arwen! I know a lot of isobelles too. I wouldn't really care about the initials- as others have said middle names rarely used and if it bothered your daughter that much she doesnt have to tell people at school or other kids her middle name. I hardly knew the middle names of any kids at my school

Girlmum91 · 30/05/2020 16:38

Isabelle first is lovely

Sunsage · 30/05/2020 18:30

BikeRunSki interesting! I've never had to use mine :)

sel2223 · 30/05/2020 18:45

@BikeRunSki same here. I use my full name a lot.

Also, when i was at school, kids were ruthless with surnames and initials!
