So I posted yesterday regarding a negative doctors test despite my own 7 positives. I had a blood test yesterday where they confirmed my pregnancy but said to come back in on Monday for another to see if my levels have risen. Does this sound positive?

It's impossible to say without getting the results from the second test - if they have more than doubled in 48 hours then it's a good sign

I had a similar thing happen - I'd got positives at home on FRERs and cheap tests, then rang GP a few days later to see what I had to do next and they asked me to take in a urine sample. They then rang me to say it was negative and I had a complete wobble, I knew I was pregnant but it completely threw me! Their tests just aren't as sensitive generally. I took another sample down a week later and they confirmed the positive. Tests we buy ourselves are a lot more sensitive usually so it can just take GP tests longer to pick up higher levels or hormone but it sounds positive so far x

@bluebell94 Yep I had 7 positives with 4 of them being digitals so when I told this to the doctor he said that their tests were the best out there and that they were never wrongHmm So yesterday I had a complete melt down thinking I’d got my hopes up for nothing x

As PP said you need to have a second test at 48 hours to be able to tell if the level is going up or down. If you’re not having any pain or bleeding then there’s no reason not to think positive though. You’re probably just a bit early for the test at the doctors to be positive, especially if it wasn’t FMU.
