Think I'm having a miscarriage

I'm devastated. Should be 7+4 today, have felt a bit crampy for a few days but didn't think much of it until I started spotting yesterday evening. The bleeding has been getting heavier throughout today and have just passed some clots, one of which was big and grey in part. I'm so incredibly sad, this baby was so longed for and we have been so excited. I have an appointment tomorrow morning at the Early Pregnancy Unit but am now resigned to them telling me it's over. I don't even know why I'm posting here, I'm just so very sad.

@snausage firstly I'm so sorry to hear this, have you rang your doctor? I am going through the exact same last night I had brown blood and then all night and all day today the bleeding has got heavier with clots! I rang the doctors this morning but because they think I'm only 5 weeks there is nothing they can do to check but becuase you are later on they may be able to do a early scan or a blood test

Hi OP! I can't imagine how you're feeling but didn't want to read and run!
Big virtual hugs to you! I do hope everything is ok tomorrow 🤞🤞🤞

Thank you both for your kind replies. I am waiting for a blood test at the Early Pregnancy Unit but I have a piece of paper that states I have had a miscarriage and have an empty uterus. I am distraught.

I’m so sorry @Snausage Flowers
Please look after yourself, take time, be kind to yourself. I had an early miscarriage in February and I’m not sure I’m over it, or ever will be, but time has helped Flowers xx
