Has anyone else had them this early? If so did they just keep getting worse till you had the baby or did they only get slightly worse?

I'm 29 weeks tomorrow ftm and started to get stretch marks on my hips around 24 weeks (might have been earlier time has started to speed up last few weeks!) my left side has got worse since then but currently none on my actual stomach and still only the 3 on my right side I had at first. I've been using oils/creams but knew I would get them as I had loads of my boobs/bum/thighs when I was 13-15 and think its more down to genetics and skin type.

I have one on my boob and currently 22 weeks.
My family that have had children didn't get a single stretch mark but I was covered in them going through puberty, so I hold out no hope that I'll get through without any.
I'm really worried I'm going to be covered in them, as I already don't like how I look so just getting bigger is just going to add to the insecurities!
Anyway, I've been slapping on the moisturiser on a daily basis. I've been using palmers stretch mark cream which improves electricity in your skin (apparently), so I'm hoping it helps!

@lockdownpregnancy I have been switching between the palmers stretch mark cream and bio oil! Obviously hasn't helped the stretch marks but skin feels great - I know what you mean I'm dreading the day I wake up with my stomach covered but know it will happen. At the same time its so worth it for a healthy baby and my stretch marks I got during puberty are not noticable at all and haven't been for the last 10 years or so, hoping same will happen to any I get now. I've been told to use franks coffee scrub and a body shop amazonian cream after I've given birth as they are meant to help loads.

@LuckyC27 coffee scrub?? Sounds interesting! I'll have to have a look!
And my post was supposed to say improve elasticity not electricity 😂😂
I can't get over the odd stretch mark, I just don't want to be covered in them. My DH has already lost interest in being intimate with me, so having a belly that's covered in stretch marks and is vile to look at, will just give him more excuse to stay away from me! 😭
Bloody hell, I am feeling sorry for myself today!!😬😬

I used the secret saviours stretch mark band in my last pregnancy, and got no stretch marks. Doing the same this time round. I have them on my bum/thighs, but none on my stomach so do think the band helped.

My first pregnancy I had awful stretch marks on my thighs. They started early and nearly took over my entire back of thighs by the end of it with big 1-2cm red marks! I'm 36 weeks pregnant with second child now, the stretch marks on my thighs aren't even visible besides some very very thin indented skin colour lines and I haven't had any new ones at all this time.

So my point of my post is try not to worry. Stretch marks are random and can't be avoided and they will get considerably better post partum!

I got stretch marks that early and in the end my stomach ended up covered in them.. i have a picture if you'd like to see but i don't want to put you off! Bio oil and creams didn't help but my mum also had a lot of stretch marks with me... i'm currently 5months po and they seem to be dying down a bit!

Yeh I’ve had 2 kids already and had a couple of stretch marks that weren’t noticeable with the first on my lower belly but didn’t come till 39 weeks ish, no new ones with the second and that was ‘me done’ with having kids so I had ‘mini tummy tuck/ scar revision to repair my c section as I was left with a lopsided belly from the last. Then the surprise baby came along and I’ve got a couple already so I’m dreading what I’ll look like in another 14 weeks!
