Hello,

This is my first pregnancy so everything is new to me!

I'm roughly 4 weeks, today I've had sharp burning sensations occasionally in my lower tummy, last a second but feel very hot.. also lots of twinges and cramps. I know it's normal to have cramps and twinges but can't find anything online about the hot/burning sensation. It tends to be triggered if I get up from sitting down, or when I sit down.

Would appreciate it if anyone could shed some light :) thank you xx

That it is mostly when you stand up or sit down sounds like it's ligament pain. If it helps reassure you I'm about 5 weeks and keep doubling over when I get up from sitting as I get a sharp pulling sensation...I had exactly the same thing with my first pregnancy! It stopped around the 12 week mark I think.

@TheBoots oh that's reassuring! Every twinge is so scary I'm such an anxious fairy haha

I literally just made a post about pains. I'm 4/5 weeks and I'm having pains, especially when moving around. I've been doubled over in pain too and currently sat here with a hot water bottle Sad.

If it helps I phoned my GP and he said it's nothing to worry about if there's no bleeding, but I'm a worrier Blush

I've had two boys and had this with both. I also get really bad ovulation pains and always have. Both my pregnancies were fine. DaffodilDaffodil
