Fibroids

Hi can anyone please advise? I am 6 weeks pregnant and had early scan as I was having lower abdominal pain.
Everything is fine with the baby however I’ve been told I have a 5cm fibroid outside my uterus. The nurse at the hospital said it was fine and it shouldn’t affect my pregnancy but could grow and cause more pain.

Googling is making me worried. Has anyone else had this experience?

My also have a 5cm fibroid. I’m currently 10 weeks pregnant and if they hadn’t told me it was there I wouldn’t know. They said it’s not a problem and it might grow so they will just keep an eye on it. Don’t read too much on google. Fibroids are very common and lots of women have them. I think they are only an issue if they are blocking the cervix or are very large.
