Morning ladies where have you all been purchasing your maternity wear from? I'm looking for summer things really like dresses, shorts and tops. Have any of you bought from Boohoo?

New look and H&M are really good for maternity wear, I’ve never bought maternity from boohoo but I’ve bought other things and the quality is terrible. The stuff looks really cheap in my opinion so I wouldn’t buy anything from there.

George at ASDA are also pretty good.

I bought some from asos.... cheap & fine but not great quality. Bought some specific pieces (a nice skirt/dress etc) from seraphine as well, much better quality. It depends on how much you'll be out of the house and how much you want to spend.

Ebay has some great bundles for good prices if second hand doesn't bother you? You can always bundle and re-sell anything you don't like. My bundle included a pair of Topshop jeans I would never have even considered looking at, but look great and are incredibly comfortable (and when the cost of the bundle is divided up, cost £3.60).
I am combining ebay with some cheap basics from Dorothy Perkins and a handful of more expensive items from LoveLeggings and JoJo :-)

I buy most of my stuff (pre-pregnancy too) second hand. I narrow it down to brands I love, am very picky, and only buy the colours and shapes I know that suit me. It’s enabled me to get some fantastic items for a fraction of the new prices.

Currently wearing a lot of Isabella Oliver, Seraphine, Madderson supplemented with some JoJo, Topshop and Mamalicious stuff.

I still wear my maternity leggings from boohoo, I pretty much live in them 😆

peachypetite · 27/05/2020 11:56

Leggings - love leggings
Boohoo is cheap crap!
I got loose cotton dresses from sainsburys for the summer which will still fit as I get bigger, no waistband etc. Agree with @EithneBlue you’ll get bargains on eBay.

I got tops from boohoo which were good but I didn't like the fit of their jeans. Asdas jeans I found much better. Been wearing the same size since the start and now 40 weeks lol.

Letsallscreamatthesistene · 27/05/2020 12:07

Depends on your budget but I loved Seraphine. It doesnt look like maternity wear, I still wear it now.

Id avoid ASOS like the plague. All of the stuff I got from there was real poor quality.

bluebell94 · 27/05/2020 12:45

Some boohoo stuff is ok but the quality is hit and miss - avoid the leggings, they're so see through!

Lovelostnfoundx · 27/05/2020 12:53

Boohoo is hit and miss but the easy returns are a bonus. I had some ASOS maternity basics and they really bobbled after a wash or two even though very comfortable.

Alychloe · 27/05/2020 13:03

Topshop and Dorothy Perkins have some lovely stuff in the sale at the moment! Topshop jeans are very comfy :)

MichelleOR84 · 27/05/2020 14:09

Another vote for Seraphine. Expensive but totally worth it . I wore all my maternity tops and dresses after pregnancy as they don’t look like maternity and are nursing friendly. The quality is great . They are flattering on as well .

Bellsx · 27/05/2020 20:28

Thanks ladies, it's so hard not being able to go to shops isn't it especially as I don't know what sizes to go for 🤔

One thing I would say is that you go for Seraphine, the stuff is lovely, but I find the trousers come up big. I went for my pre-pregnancy size, but the maternity jeans keep falling down (I'd say it's flattering, but actually it's just a pain!). The dresses and tops fit fine though. The perils of online shopping!!

peachypetite · 01/06/2020 15:40

Hi all does anyone have the seraphine dress with the v neck and toe waist? What’s the sizing like?

@Bellsx I've bought from h&m, new look and verbaudet. I like the dresses from new look, they're light, comfortable and pretty. They also do free delivery if you spend over 25 or 30 quid, cant remember exactly
I got some leggings from boohoo because they were cheap. The quality isnt great but it will do for staying at home. H&m ones are much better quality.
