Brown Discharge

Hello all

Since Sunday (so for four days) I've had on and off brown discharge. Its really panicking me so we booked a private scan for Monday. Luckily all was okay and could see the baby and heartbeat. They said I was around 7 weeks 4 days
However I'm still so worried that the brown discharge is carrying on. I called the EPU and they advised they would call me back on Friday if I was still having the discharge and to monitor it.

Just wondered if anyone else has had this?

Hey - I also had this on and off for 3/4 weeks when I was about 6-10 weeks. I also had a scan for peace of mind. The dr said that it does happen to a lot of women and sometimes they never know why! Brown is old blood which is much less worrying. Also- I have seen on here plenty of women who had also had pink and red blood and all has gone on to be ok. Just keep an eye on it. I was also recommended to avoid sex until it settled down and most exercise for a couple of weeks (not walking though). Mine did stop before I was 12 weeks, but honestly it was pretty constant for about a month and I'm now 25 weeks 😊. Xxxxxxx

@Flossie333 Thank you! That's really goos to hear. Its so worrying every time it happens. And never had this in my last pregnancy. Just praying all okay!!

Hey I also had this! But I also had a mix of pink and brown. It was on and off throughout my first trimester. Like you it really panicked me. I did go for an early scan and I was told by midwife that it can be completely normal.
I'm 19 weeks now x
