Go and get one!!! The baby will be absolutely fine. As long as you aren’t eating them every other day

Starcup · 26/05/2020 23:32

Get a Chinese takeaway with egg friend rice and crispy chilli beef 😃

SpillTheTeaa · 26/05/2020 23:32

I had one every Friday night when I was pregnant and I looked forward to it so much!

nasalspray · 26/05/2020 23:43

How would a take away affect your baby? It's just food.

Louise91417 · 26/05/2020 23:49

I had at least 1 a week when pregnant, eat what you want, worst is you might get a few greasy zitsWink

sel2223 · 26/05/2020 23:59

I've been having about 1 a week during lockdown. 29 weeks now and no issues as far as I can tell.

lockdownpregnancy · 27/05/2020 08:54

I'm 22 weeks and have a takeaway at least once a week! Need something to cheer me up with being stuck in my house on lockdown!
As long as the food is cooked properly you'll be fine!
My diet also consists of sweets and crisps and chocolate brioche!
If you've been eating healthy to date, then the odd blip will not make a difference! Just enjoy it 🥰

quarantinevibes · 27/05/2020 09:02

You’ll be fine. Enjoy Grin

PennyWishes1 · 27/05/2020 09:19

I had a Four Star last night. 1/2 Empire State and 1/2 Cajun Chicken .....mmmmmmmmmmmm

Eat well-ish most of the time, the odd takeaway with be fine. Smile

My post probably came across worse than intended. But to help your anxiety you do need to tell yourself it is just food. Ok someone else is cooking it but realistically people eat take away all the time with no issues!

Itsnoteasyfeelingqueasy · 27/05/2020 12:19

I’ve had a takeaway weekly throughout my pregnancy, loved junk food in the early but when I felt nauseous, now we usually get a curry at weekends. I’m also craving coke ( as in coke a cola 🤣) so having one can a day. Not healthy but I think you have to let yourself off when pregnant.

BeHappyAndSmile · 27/05/2020 12:26

I have takeaways probably 3 times a week. It's what baby wants, or at least that's the excuse I'm using 😂. Try not to worry about it and just enjoy being able to eat without being sick (if that affected you, that's the main reason I've been having them haha) or without having to put effort in. There's people out there who eat or do way worse things than you will be and most will go on to have healthy babies. Obviously not advocating going out and doing all the things you're not meant to but thinking that helps me when I get anxious about things.

I promise you it won’t harm baby , especially if you make sure to eat lots of healthy food between takeaway . I ate takeaway probably every third or fourth night in my third trimester. Weirdly I didn’t put on weight lol . But I was eating super healthy when I wasn’t eating takeaway and was on my feet all day

walkingchuckydoll · 27/05/2020 15:50

I had to have a big mac. I literally was awake at night craving a big mac so we went to get one the next day (drive through was open in my country). The weird thing is, I don't normally go to macdonalds unless maybe once a year with my niece. It's not a type of food that I care about normally.

toomuchteaandcake · 27/05/2020 18:53

I have one, if not two a week...
