8 week scan

Hi im almost 8 weeks and just had a belly scan, i was expecting internal so i was a bit shocked but then she pressed really firmly on my belly, I seen a heartbeat so im pleased about that but a bit worried the pressure would do some harm, has anyone else had this?

They need to use firm pressure to perform an abdominal scan. It’s normal and doesn’t not harm the baby.

All my scans and appointments they've had to press quite hard on my abdomen and I've not had any issue with it!
Baby is very well cushioned and protected in there.

I had a scan at 6 weeks which was internal then a follow up at 8 weeks which was abdominal so think it's all pretty normal.
