Please could someone help me! I'm so confused. I took a Sainsburys pregnancy test yesterday and it had a faint line ( first photo). Therefore, I took another Sainsburys test today which came up with the same results. But When I took another test at 11 today, with the brand 'answer' it came back with a faint line but so faint it isn't visible on camera! Therefore I would class this as a negative result!
Could someone tell me if they believe the Sainsburys results are evap lines or positive!Confused

Driving myself mad looking online.

The Sainsbury's and most blue dye tests are known for evaps, but the fact two different tests have picked something up could mean they're faint positives. All tests have different amounts of dye, plus hormones fluctuate throughout the day and different concentrations of urine etc can all affect the strength of lines.
I would try again with another brand such as First Response. I found Asda own brand tests good too.

Oh realty. And yes that's what I was confused by as both had come up with faint lines but I was just a little concerned that the line hadn't got any darker! Yes I might try the Asda brand then. Thank you so much! X

sainsburys tests are awful. I ran one under water and it showed a line. if you are able to, test again tomorrow with a different brand.

sainsburys ones should be banned

No way really ?! Tbf I've never had a really bad experience with them except it being hard to read sometimes. As they were accurate when I was pregnant in April. However now I'm not sure as the line just hasn't become darker after a day. And the other one came back basically negative. However I just searched and based on my length of cycle I would be too early to test untill this Saturday. So think I'll wait untill Saturday to re test x

Blue dye tests can be a bastard! However I can see a line on your pink test too. I'd try again on another brand. I swear by first response tests. Good luck Flowers

cydb · 26/05/2020 15:44

Can you really ? I was sure I could see the faintest of lines but wasn't sure if I was going crazy aha. Because no one else can see it. Thank you I'm going to try find a first response but no where I go is selling them🙄 x

yeah I second first response - they showed my dd earlier and clearer than any others.

I know, I had seen some people on here saying they'd had weird lines on them and I had one spare and tried - couldnt believe a line came up!

borntohula · 26/05/2020 16:05

Sainsbury's tests are crap, terrible reviews back that up. Try a different brand definitely.

Crystal87 · 26/05/2020 17:48

The first one looks like it's been left a while so the dye has run. I can't see anything on the pink dye test but can see something faint on the other one but it could be an evap. What dpo are you?

cydb · 26/05/2020 19:27

Yes the photo was a little blurry too. Didn't look like that in person aha. And yes I wasn't sure if it was an evap line or not. I'm dpo 10

From personal experience I've had dark lines from around 10/ 11dpo. I would wait a day or 2 and retest. By then you should expect obvious lines if you're pregnant.
