I have now had the most horrific heartburn, nausea and acid reflux for the last 16 hours! I sat down and ate some salt and vinegar crisps about halfway through the bag I could feel acid bubbling up so I stopped eating them, since then I’ve had the worst nausea, acid reflux and heartburn ever. I’ve tried rennies and milk. Please someone help it’s horrible

Milk makes it worse, can you get Gaviscon from a pharmacy?

CoolNoMore · 26/05/2020 07:02

Gavison is working for me.

Oh I feel your pain! I was up at 3am with horrendous acid reflux. Get some Gaviscon, it works wonders! Your midwife should be able to prescribe you a similar solution which is free so mention it if it's still bad when you next see them. x

I thought this was going to be about someone elseconstantly craving salt and vinegar crisps. I normally love them anyway but at the moment I'm craving them so much I actually dreamt about eating a tub of salt and vinegar Pringles last night!

Sorry you're feeling rough @KittyKat2020, hope some gaviscon helps.

Yeah I used to love the flavour but now can only manage plain crisps!
I’ll try Gaviscon today thanks ladies

A slice of bread and butter helps ease it for me. Sorry, its a horrible feeling.
