Hello ladies new thread here for all of us been chatting on thread 1 due in August with our babies!

I’m so nervous about tomorrow, Thankyou to everybody that has asked about me and gave us good wishes for my appointment in the morning. I’m so so scared I’ve got my bag packed etc all prepared for whatever’s going to happen except if they tell me he isn’t going to be okay I will be absolutely heartbroken but as I say I have high hopes.

I had a really lovely day at my baby shower although it was really strange that the only person I could be less than 2 metres top was my immediate family! Such a strange situation. My mum MADE a donut wall, her own balloon arch banners etc and it looked amazing! It was hard to keep it together with everything on my mind but it was such a lovely day. ❤️

I’ll keep you all updated with what happens tomorrow my app is at 9:15 so at least it’s first thing.

Been really sore and not feeling great the last little bit plus had a family friend have a heartbreaking ending to some pregnancy complications, so sorry for vanishing for a while. I hope everyone is doing well. I'm 32+4 and had my growth scan today, baby boy is finally head down after being breech for what seems like forever (yayyyy), estimated at 5lbs and measuring 2 weeks ahead but healthy (and stubborn as always, gave the tech a hard time measuring his legs and wouldn't let us see his face lol). They want to do another scan at 36 weeks to check up on him but all seems okay.

Good luck today @firstmummytobe - I shall be keeping everything crossed for you. And what a GORGEOUS baby shower! You are obviously very loved and have great support which is fantastic. Looking amazing too - definitely faring better in pregnancy than me! 🤣 xxx

Soooo.... GOOD NEWS 😁😁😁

Basically, the free fluid that the midwife thought she saw was actually fluid inside the bowel, and the fetal medicine lead thinks there is a little tiny knot in his bowel. We are unsure of the cause but they are testing me for CF to rule it out.

However after speaking to my mum and dad, they have both been tested and were negative in the past and my patterned has also been tested so I think we can rule that out too!!!

When measuring his weight they measured around the head, stomach and the thigh, and every time he clicked enter, a box reading ‘GA=35+4’ popped up, which is two weeks ahead of what I thought I was (34+4) so the doctor confirmed that I may actually be having a July baby 🙈 he weighs 5lbs 1oz already so he is doing really well.

Ah that's such good news @firstmummytobe - couldn't be happier for you. Will they need to do anything after he's born to sort his bowel out?
