Really bad upper stomach pain?!

Hi guys I hope someone can help!

I'm experiencing really bad upper stomach pain. I've of course googled it and if you get upper stomach pain on the right it can be pre-eclampsia but my pain is mostly on the left and I don't have any other pre-eclampsia signs.

It's a really sharp pain that is also tender to touch right at the top of my stomach under my boobs and it's just getting worse, it was so bad yesterday the pain was making me feel sick and I'm crying regularly from the pain on a night.

I mentioned it at my last midwifes appointment but she didn't seem concerned.

Has anyone else experienced this?

I'm experiencing exactly the same thing and was told it was heartburn. I feel your pain!

I've been trying Gaviscon, smaller meals, drinking milk/not drinking milk etc for a week or so and taking paracetamol when it gets really bad but I'm still waking multiple times a night. Might call the GP again for prescription medication.

@strawberryicecream2020 oh wow really?! I'll try some of those things then thank you! I have a midwife appointment on Friday so I'm going to mention how bad it's getting to her then! Thanks 😊
