It was for me with DS2. I stopped drinking coffee/tea in the day and the nausea disappeared!

I didn't get middle of the night sickness but my worst sickness was always at night. I never really struggled at all with morning sickness. It was always night sickness. I didn't drink tea or coffee and it was still bad. It's just 'part of the journey' and all of that. How many weeks are you?

haget · 25/05/2020 09:15

Yes, I always went to bed with a snack to help this. Usually a plain biscuit or banana.

AudacityOfHope · 25/05/2020 09:23

It was for my sister. She would throw up before bed, get up in the middle of the night to throw up, then have a morning vom first thing Envy

Yes! I type this through heavy eyes after my night sickness last night... 9 weeks tomorrow hope it stops soon. Its not every night for me but I've had 4 or 5 nights of it over the last 3 weeks

Keepingcomfy · 25/05/2020 09:40

Yeah definitely. I haven't actually been sick yet however I do wake in the night gagging sometimes

Winnie20 · 25/05/2020 09:56

I had this in 2 of my 3 pregnancies. Sometimes I would actually vomit and other times it was horrendous nausea and stomach churning. It lasted for 14 weeks.

Yes, kept me up at night many nights. Keep some biscuits or breakfast bars in your bedside table. Also have you tried sickness bands ?

JKD1982 · 25/05/2020 10:45

I had the same. Have a snack like a cracker or banana to eat when you wake up.
I ended up getting cyclizine from my doctor which helped me sleep if I took one just before bed

Yes, it's a thing. Never actually sick but was caused but the feeling of dehydration.
Try drinking more water during the afternoon, it did help me. Wishing you all the best as I remember the dread feeling Sad

Yes I am 20 weeks and thankfully not sick any more but up until 15 weeks I was waking in the night to be sick!

Aworldofmyown · 25/05/2020 14:59

Yes, i remember crying in the night feeling sick. 😔

Arc86 · 25/05/2020 15:05

Yes, I had ‘morning’ sickness in the evenings and I would also wake up in the middle of the night feeling nauseous. Never was actually physically sick though. It eased for me around week 10. Hope it passes quickly for you.
