I am 13+3 and had my scan at 11+6. Baby was absolutely fine, very wriggly and all was well. It was a total relief to have confirmation everything was ok.

Since week 10, my symptoms lessened to the point of disappearing (which is why I was worried before my scan). I know the placenta has taken over by now, which is a good thing in terms of pesky symptoms, but I feel in this weird limbo where I have no symptoms and no bump showing yet, and have no assurance everything is still progressing OK.

What are your experiences around this time? Is what I am experiencing normal? How long before FTM's bumps popped?

About 20 weeks for bump here. Ftm. Tbh there's never any reassurance, even with movements, it doesn't mean baby is well nessessarily, it's more a matter of keeping your anxiety under control

I agree. I have private scans booked every three weeks until I feel the baby move to make me feel better but I need to learn to control my anxiety. I would save myself a lot of money if I could. We have to try and enjoy our pregnancies and not worry so much. This is my 2nd and I'm worse this time around. I didn't get a bump until 7/8 month with my last this time I'm so bloated I can't even suck my belly in I have tiny bump! It's so silly lol I'm only 7 weeks. It's obviously not a baby bump but I definitely look rounder.

I had practically no symptoms at 13 weeks. I'm 26 weeks now and I've only had a visible bump from around 20 weeks. It's my first baby.

26 weeks here, my symptoms suddently stopped at 12 weeks after my scan and I felt so worried about it, because like you, I didnt have a bump..just a bit of bloating.
Felt very anxious till my 17 weeks when I sudently started feeling the baby for the first time, and since my 20th week my belly popped and has been growing non stop!
Just focus on thinking that if everything was ok in your 12 weeks scan, there is no reason for anything to be wrong now, you have passed the toughest part of pregnancy with horrible symptoms and risk of miscarriage.. try to relax and enjoy :)

Thanks all. It's not so much a constant anxiety or anything for me. I'm feeling ok mentally, I just have no barometer for what's "normal" and wondered what all your experiences were. I'm just assuming things are OK, no pain or anything to be concerned about. But it is an odd time where you just have to be OK with not having an idea if baby is OK. 🤷🏻‍♀️
