What does round ligament pain feel like?!

I’m 19+3 and for the past 3-4 days I’ve felt pain which kind of reminded me a bit of ovulation pain on my right side not too far from my hip bone. It’s not excruciating or anything but it hurts to press down where my appendix scar is. Also hurts when I turn over or if I really need to do a wee.
Wondering if this is round ligament pain or something else to be worried about? As it hurts to press I’m a bit worried about my scan next week being sore.

Round ligament pain is really common and it can come in all sorts of aches and pains. Sharp stabbing pains that are localised to just full on belly ache and feeling your belly getting really tight and about to pop!
However, localised pain can be something more serious. If it becomes really really bad then give your maternity unit a call and they will have you in for a check up.
You can take paracetamol to help with the pains, hot water bottle (don't use it for too long though) and a nice bath or shower.

Mine feels like a stitch type pain on either side of my lower abdomen. Usually get it when I’ve stood up or turned over in bed.
