I'm 41+1 pregnant today. Sweep yesterday, cervix is apparently favourable. Shagged DP last night, he is now fairly traumatised I'm sure. overnight fair amounts of pink mucous. Yum. Home alone with DS today. Housework done. Weather miserable. Do I

a) do bugger all. have a couple of cups of raspberry leaf tea which has done bugger all over past 5 weeks and consider ordering a curry tonight.

b)go for a 30 minute walk or so to some nearby shops I've not ever got round to investigating. rain doesn't particularly bother me.

c)get bus for 45 minutes to shopping mall and wonder around doing window shopping with DS. Hope that waters break in somewhere lovely like JL or M&s...

What would you do? TIA!!

Hi NP - how are you?? I'd take buggy with me. If he doesn't behave he goes into buggy.

Is Boots not a good place for your waters to go?
I'm sure they don't check it, take a wee bottle of water in your pocket.

LoveMyGirls · 20/09/2007 20:03

there is time for all of them in a day

FlossALump · 20/09/2007 20:14

Am back, tired with waters still in tact and a slightly tense atmosphere between DS and me... Never mind.

We were advised against the curry at our ante natal class due to the repercussions and spiciness during delivery, makes things a bit shall we say runny !!
Nipple tweaking or a nice orgasm should get things moving ??
You could go for some acupuncture - it can help, you need to find someone who is specialised in ante natal acupuncture though.

FlossALump · 21/09/2007 08:05

Curry didn't have that effect on me! its my second in a week having never eaten them for about a decade so i thought it might erm affect my tummy somewhat but no! Did a little bit of nipple stuff last night and Dp is at work now and not sure I'm in the right place mentally for the other option!

that being the orgasm not the accupuncture - could maybe see if local place does it later on.

Nothing yet then?

Hot spicy food three nights in a row did it for me. No shagging here .

Got a friend in Oz in same position as you, she will be induced on Monday if she can't get him out this weekend.

Fingers crossed for you!

FlossALump · 21/09/2007 09:54

Nope - nada! Thank you though!
