Hey mama's and mama's to be!

Just wondering if anyone else has experienced zero symptoms?? I'm at 10 weeks now and i have no nausea, not tired, breasts were a little tender but they aren't anymore, and not even the slightest bump?? I was a teeny bit quesy for about 2 weeks (weeks 7 and 8)...that was it... I've read horrible things online about silent miscarriage where you don't bleed and it's all a bit disconcerting...apparently even if you do another test after something like this, it can still show positive.. 👀🙈 I have my first scan in about 2 weeks time, but it's the longest 2 weeks of my life... Is anyone else out there also having a mystery baby experience? :)

Cheers

Nina

I'm 21 weeks and in the first 12 weeks I had no symptoms bar being a bit more tired. I read that it's more to do with if you have symptoms that suddenly disappear but even then it might just be that your getting closer to the second trimester! I know they are not cheap but I had an earlier scan for some reassurance which really helped bridge the wait! Xx

Frazzlerock · 22/05/2020 13:55

I hate to scare you but I've had 3 MMC so I understand your worry. One of them I had the tiniest bleed and thought was normal but wasn't. One of them I lost all symptoms so I just knew it was over, and the third I still had symptoms so it came as a huge shock when I was scanned. Can you get a private scan? 2 weeks is such a long time to wait.

NinaMichals5601 · 22/05/2020 14:26

@frazzlerock... 3! Wow I'm sorry to hear that, quite a lot to go through :( I've been trying to see online what the stats are and how common it is.. Apparently around 7% are mmc and 13% mc, but that doesn't really mean much to me 🤷‍♀️ due to various circumstances i haven't been working for 7 months and no idea when the market will get moving and i can work again... So paying for extra scans isn't really in my budget, it's one of those things that's 'nice to have' :( I'll just have to suck it up and wait... Bit more worrying when I'm technically a geriatric pregnancy (40 in July!)... 2 weeks is a really really long time haha

I will update the outcome on this thread though and keeping my fingers crossed!!

I have been preg once before and up to 8.5 weeks i didn't have any symptoms either, so I'm hoping I'm just lucky to not have them and there's nothing else sinister going on 🙈

@Daisysandviolets congrats on your pregnancy!! :) glad to hear you didn't have symptoms either, from asking around, a few people I've asked didn't have either, but i don't know how common it is... I don't know if the miniscle quesyness i had counts as a symptom that came and went 🙈🙈🙈 oh the waiting is torture, why do the nhs leave us to hang dry for so long... Lol argh! no money for private scan :(

Lots of women don't have symptoms like those you list. It doesn't mean a thing.

NinaMichals5601 · 22/05/2020 14:32

Not OH, was meant to be ohhh 🤔 mumsnet autocorrects me haha

They don't scan earlier because there's no need to.

MilleniumHallsWalledGarden · 22/05/2020 14:35

Or rather, they don't scan earlier unless there's a reason to.

Ek3009 · 22/05/2020 15:02

Currently 19 weeks pregnant and apart from being bloated for a few weeks Iv had zero symptoms and need to remind myself some days that I am actually pregnant!

Try not to worry too much and I’m sure everything at your scan will be absolutely fine! Just enjoy having no symptoms and hopefully you’ll have a nice easy pregnancy :) x

MrssC92 · 22/05/2020 15:39

Currently 36 weeks pregnant and I also had very few symptoms in the first trimester. I would get tender boobs on and off. Each time they stopped hurting I would fear the worst, but for me it wasn't an indication of anything sinister.

Hope you have a happy and healthy pregnancy x

bluebell94 · 22/05/2020 15:46

Try not to worry, though I know that's easier said than done! I've had virtually no symptoms, a little tired and a few headaches but not the typical nausea/sore breasts etc that everyone tells you about. But I've had 2 scans and there's a happy wriggly baby in there!
It's also normal not to have a bump at 10 weeks, especially if it's your first baby. I'm 15 weeks and only this week is there maybe the tiniest hint of bump starting but nothing that anyone else would notice x

Thank you lovely ladies for your postive messages and support!!! 🤗🤗🤗 It means the world to me and my little paro overthinking brain 🤣

Hi I just wanted to let you know I felt exactly the same. After 3 MMC, I had a scan at 7 weeks at the early pregnant unit, everything was fine and saw HB, I had symptoms up until this point then I hit just before 9 weeks and everything went and I felt so normal so I thought it was happening again for the 4th time. Managed to get a private scan the next day and everything was absolutely fine, baby was there kicking away. I've since had a scan this week at 10 weeks 2 days and everything is perfect. I feel absolutely fine with hardly any symptoms, in fact I feel great. So I just wanted to put your mind at ease that I have felt great since about 8.5 weeks :) x

NinaMichals5601 · 23/05/2020 08:13

@Nade2708 I'm so pleased for you!!! Congrats on your little wriggly bundle and i hope it continues to be easy and amazing all the way through, what a blessing :D great to hear! 🤗❤️🙏

🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️🙋‍♀️ Me !!!!

With my first two pregnancies I had all the symptoms . Ironically one of those was a missed miscarriage ( silent miscarriage)

I’m currently 15 weeks pregnant and I’ve had noooooooo symptoms this time around . The only sign is a growing bump . First time around I didn’t get a bump until 20 weeks though .

Interestingly, my hospital gives us our HCG levels and I had higher HCG with my missed miscarriage than I did with my current pregnancy. My body still thought I was pregnant even though baby stopped growing .

Symptoms don’t always result in a successful pregnancy (and vice versus). But I completely understand your worry 😔

20viona · 23/05/2020 08:31

I had no symptoms until heartburn at about 32 weeks which got so horrendous I was on daily medication. Didn't get any hint of a bump until 25 weeks either. I loved it I was in my jeans 4 days after giving birth.

xkjl1x · 23/05/2020 08:33

Get you 100% 15 +5. I think i been driving my partner mad. I had sore breast nausea feeling tired emotionally unstable( he would say ). Now nothing read so much online think I'm worting myself silly.
Speak to your midwife if you really feel something is wrong, try not to stress too much i know hard not too. Fingers crossed for u xx

NinaMichals5601 · 23/05/2020 08:50

Thanks ladies!! 🤗🤗🤗 It's so difficult not to worry isn't it! I'm sure once I've had my scan and everything is fine, I'll find new things to worry about 😂 it seems that not having symptoms is just as normal as having them! Which is good to hear :)

I’m nearly 30 weeks and have had no symptoms except my now growing bump. First trimester I had maybe a week of very very mild nausea in the evenings around week 7, but that disappeared. Nothing else. I was convinced I wasn’t pregnant. Someone told me to remember that the main symptom is your missed period! It is hard at the beginngin though, I was willing the weeks away until my 12 week scan. Good luck x

NinaMichals5601 · 23/05/2020 11:28

@MaisieMolly haha yep! I'm counting the minutes till that scan!! 😂 That is a good thing to remember though, the main symptom is the missed period hahaha i like that! Thank you 🤗❤️

My first pregnancy the only symptoms I had was that when I was on the sofa I'd randomly fall asleep. Tiredness was my only symptom all the way through. My first pregnancy was not hard at all, not until she decided to make me wait 2 weeks over my due date

MaisieMolly · 29/05/2020 14:21

@NinaMichals5601 I’m so sorry to hear this. Look after yourself xx
